The children choose between indoor and outdoor activities. There are teacher lead and
open-ended table top activities set up inside the classroom.
9:45 - 10:05 Snack Time
A teacher assists the children during snack time.
10:30 - 10:45 Meeting Time
Morning issues are discussed, and the group sings before Clean Up Time.
10:45 - 11:00 Circle Time
A teacher leads the children in songs, body movement, music, finger plays, and
dramatic play
11:00 - 11:30 Free Play Time
11:30 - 11:40 Last Story of the Morning
11:40 Dismissal

A teacher leads the children in songs, body movement, music, finger plays, and
dramatic play
11:30 - 11:40 Last Story of the Morning
11:40 Dismissal

Afternoon Pre-Kindergarten
12:45 - 12:50 Greeting Time
The children join their friends on the circle-time rug, reading books
and greeting one another.
12:50 - 1:00 Meeting Time
Teacher led discussions with attendance taking and changing of the job chart.
1:00 - 1:30 Choice Time
The children choose between teacher-facilitated activities
1:30 - 3:00 Free Play Time
The children choose indoor or outdoor activities. There are teacher led and
open-ended tabletop activities set up inside the classroom.
2:00 Snack
Every day a child chosen from the job chart makes a snack menu
and helps a teacher set up snack.
3:00 Meeting Time
Afternoon issues are discussed and the group sings before Clean Up Time.
Some children chosen from the job chart will help clean up the outside.
3:20 - 3:40 Circle Time
A teacher leads the children in songs, body movement, music, finger plays,
and dramatic play. Last Story of the Day.
3:40 Dismissal
