Peter's Place was founded thirty seven years ago on the premise that each child who came through our doors would be welcomed, appreciated, embraced and respected for who they are in this moment. That vision still holds true today. As a play-based school, we honor the developmental truth that children's work is their play, and that playing is a vital way to learn and grow in the early years. We also give great importance to the social and emotional lives of children as we guide and support them in developing skills and confidence, and every area of their lives. Every day we are happy to continue this legacy by creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment where children thrive.
